It is not forgiving to dry lips and will show every crack and crevice so you must exfoliate first for best results. When applied over a lip balm it glides on smooth and doesn’t dry my lips out, and it wears for a few hours leaving behind a slight stain. As with all matte lipsticks it is slightly dry so I highly suggest applying a lip balm first.
